More than 1,000 people showed up early Saturday morning to run the 5K to raise money for the Phoenix Childrens’ Hospital.
Team Type 1 (diabetes) Bicycle Team
Simon Bennett is an Australian cyclist on Team Type 1. He visited Arizona on a tour to educate people with diabetes type 1. Simon talked to physicians, clients, athletes, and medical staff about how he manages his diabetes. He is sponsored by Sanofi-Aventis, makers of Apridra® and Lantus®. You have to listen closely because he has a bit of an accent.

My friend Len took me in his ‘67 Mooney aircraft to Sedona for breakfast. I had the Denver omelette at the airport restaurant. It was a fun trip going up and back.

Farewell to the ‘06 Mustang
The end of an era. The lease is up and I return the Mustang to Ford.
Route 66
Harrison and I took the Mustang to northern Arizona in search of Route 66. Actually, I was looking for Radiator Springs from the movie “Cars”, but I didn’t find it. We found Peach Springs along with Ash Fork, Seligman, Kingman, and Oatman. It was a fun road trip.
